It brings us great joy to cover a colleague’s wedding. Beth of Special events by the planner, is one of our favorite coordinators to work with. Together with fellow photographer Eron Ocampo and Raymond Fortun (yes, 3 sets of photographers), Bob Nicholas as the videographer and hair and make up by Princess Misa. A rock solid supplier list add it up to the powder fine sands, crystal clear waters and breathtaking sunset of boracay then you’ll have a day you’ll never forget.

A couple bound by love for photography. I owe the groom the reason why i am in the business of wedding photography.
My exposure to this art was with Dave and since then we have worked together in a number of weddings along with his bride, leny.

Free Photo and Video services for the most number of likes and tags in our facebook fan page.
Contest Mechanics:
1. Download the image here
2. Post the downloaded image at blacktieproject’s facebook fan page wall with your full name (bride and groom) and wedding date
3. Tag as Many friends (legit facebook account) as you can and ask your friends to like the image you have posted.
4. The couple with the most number of tags and likes will be given free photo and video services on their wedding day.
5. The 2nd placer will be given a 50% off to the photo and video service.
6. Contest will start from June 2, 2011 until June 15, 2011 at 2 PM.

Rules and Regulations:
1. Wedding date should fall on June-November 2011 or Feb-May 2012 only. The date chosen shall be free form other event commitments by the Blacktieproject. Please see booked dates here
2. Contest duration will be from June 1 2011 until June 15, 2011. If ever during the contest duration your wedding date gets booked by another client, you will be informed right away so you can withdraw from the contest.
3. All likes and tags after June 15, 2011 will not be counted.
4. In case of a tie for the 1st or 2nd place, the contest will be exended for 2 days to break the tie.
5. An OOT (Out of Town) fee will be implemented, example:
Php 5,500 for Tagaytay
Php 2,000 for Alabang
*Kindly email for rates for other areas besides the aforementioned
6. A reservation fee of Php 5,000 for the date reservation should be paid until July 15, 2011, which will be refunded on the wedding day itself. In case of event cancellation by the client, the reservation fee will be forfeited.
7. Blacktieproject shall be the main photographer and videographer but the client can still get back-up services from other photographers/videographer if they wish to do so.
8. Inclusion of free services:
– 3 photographers and 3 Videographers on wedding day
– Both photo and Video will be edited
9. The client can get other services from Blacktieproject apart from the free Photo and Video services but standard rates shall apply.
10. Organizers have the right to change the rules at any time during the contest duration.

The reason I got interested in photography is because of travel and landscapes (yes, not weddings). I started shooting landscapes and travel for a hobby then eventually shifted to people and weddings.
As we have been shooting weddings I have realize that we haven’t shoot anything else but weddings. I have forgotten the number one reason I fell in love with photography. This month I told my self that I should shoot and post other stuff besides weddings to add a different flavor to blacktie.
